A pair of Qing Dynasty Style Official's Hat Armchairs. The members of this chair are delicate and slender. The back splat is decorated with hand craved RUYI symbol, which is a lucky symbol in China means "may everything goes as you wish". This kind of armchairs with non-protruding ends were extremely common in south part of cities in the Qing dynasty, and this type of chair was most oftener seen in the reception room, studio or bedroom.
